The charts below show the proportions of British students at one university in England who were able to speak other languages in addition to English, in 2000 and 2010
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The chart gives the detailed overview of British students of one university in England who could speak other languages in addition to English.This chart or pie graph overall gives the information of students who were enrolled in university in 2000 and 2010. Overall it gives the general comparison of both pie charts.
Firstly in 2000 the students who could speak only English but not other languages were almost 30percent that were increased to 35 percent in 2010.Secondly those students who could speak French were 15 percent in 2000 that were reduced to 10 percent in 2010.
If we check the comparison of students from pie chart about German language that were almost 10 percent in 2000 and the same percentage remained even after 10 years.We can also see a droppage in Spanish laguage studetns from 2000 to 2010 that were 20 percent in 2000 and become half in 2010.
Other languages students were almost 25percent overall in 2000 that was increased to 35 percent in 2010.
In conclusion both pie charts give comparison of information of students abouth other languages proficiency in 2000 and 2010.
