The charts below show the proportions of British students at one university in England who were able to speak other languages in addition to English, in 2000 and 2010
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The given pie charts illustrates the proportions of British students at England's university British who were able to speak diverse languages other than English throughout the period 2000 to 2010.
Overall, for the both years English was the most spoken language by students while in 2010 Spanish and French ratio declined to 10%. While other showed little variations.
To start with, in the year 2000 Spanish language is accounted for 20% which later in 2010 fell to 10%. Moreover French declined to 5% and held 10% in 2010. In addition German language remined stagnant.
Moreover, Another language was 15% in 2000 which increased to 20%. Furthermore, other two languages also faces increment in 2010 ( 15% ). While no other language is still hold most ratio with the increment of 5% in 2010 ( 35 % ).
