The charts below show the proportions of British students at one university in England who were able to speak other languages in addition to English, in 2000 and 2010

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The pie chart compares the percentage of British learners who can communicate in different languages being a university students in England from 2002 to 2010

Overall, students who only talk in their mother tongue had been witnessed with higher proportion ,whereas learners who easily talk in German remain unchanged in over the given time period

In detail, the percentage of no other language spoken was 13% and 35% in 2000 and 2010 ,respectively ,while suger for 5% has been accounted in another language .Following this, increased of 5% as in another language also noticed in spokes of two other languages.

Interestingly ,20% of Spanish in 2000 had divided into Spanish and French in 2010 equally ,on the other hand percentage of German speaking students were unchanged for 2000 and 2010
