Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
This pie char shows the comparison between the proportion of British students at one university of England, who were able to speak other languages among English, in 2000 and 2010.
Overall, students who spoke English language leading through out, even increased the percentage slightly over the period. Whereas, Spanish and French proportion decreased slightly. Only German language remain constant.
In 2000, 30% of student who spoke English not another language the share rose slightly in 2010 approx. 35% and created a larger category in latter years. The second popular language among in students was Spanish , accounting share 20% in 2000,followed by French 15%. Student who spoke another unspecified language had 15% and 10% student who able to spoke two other languages. Only 10% know German.
By 2010, Spanish proportion had halved from 20% to 10% and French language also fell from 15% to 10%. Students who spoke two other languages rose in 2010 from 10% to 15%, followed by those who spoke unspecified another language 15% to 20%. German language speakers remain constant in both the years.
