The charts below show the proportions of British students at one university in England who were able to speak other languages in addition to English, in 2000 and 2010

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The pie charts illustrate the proportion of British students who are able to speak English and other laguages in a university in England in 2000 and 2019.

Overall, it is evident that the largest percentage of students speaks no other language in 2000 and 2019. German language was least spoken by the student in 2000 and 2019.

In 2000, 30% of students speak no other language, which represented the hightest number of students in that category. Followed by 20% of students who speak spanish only. 15% of students each speak French only and Another language. German only and two other languages were spoken by 10% of students each.

According to students who were able to speak languages other than English in 2010, students who speak no other language stood at 35% while 20% of students speak Another language. Next, only 15% of students speak two other languages. 10% of students each speak Spanish only, French only and German only.
