The charts below show the proportions of British students at one university in England who were able to speak other languages in addition to English, in 2000 and 2010
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
These pie charts illustrate the number of students at paticular English University; who can speak multiple languages including English. These pie charts represent data from 2000 and 2010.
Overall, These pie charts have six various sectors; which give information about the percentage of student, who can speak these languages.
In 2000, spanish and no other languages took the largest portion of the pie char Spanish with 25% ,while no other languages had 30% contribution. Afterwards, French and another language had similar percentage both with 15%. Languages with least percentages were German and two other languages.
In regarding to 2010 pie chart, Spanish witnessed a dramatic fall it it's percentage of contributions as compared to 2000s pie chart with only 10%, but no other languages got a minor surge with 5% more than previous pie chart. Furthermore, French had 1contribution of 10%, 5% less then previous data. Moreover, another language, German and two other languages had similar percentage as compared to last data.
