The charts below show the proportions of British students at one university in England who were able to speak other languages in addition to English, in 2000 and 2010

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The pie chart illustrates the number of British students who were able to speak other languages alongside English at one university in the year 2000 and 2010.

overall, the students who had no other language were significantly high in both years whereas German language had the same propotions in 2000 and 2010.

French and Spanish totalled to 35 in year 2000 where those who had spanish only were at 20. In 2010 The amount of students in these languages sharply dropped to 20 where they both recorded the same proportion.

The number of students who spoke German was recorded at 10 in both years whereas those who had no other language slightly increased to 35 from 30 in 2000 and 2010 respectively. learners who had another language and those with two other languages recovered an increase of five in the year 2010. They were 15 and 10 in year 2000.
