Student answer (Band 5.0)

The majority of public think that junk from multiple homes are not recycled properly. The society thought that the way to rise the recycling process by keeping a legal rule by the authorities. I think it is good idea by making a law for recycling can help people be clean and hygenic.

The government should provide better knowledge about recycling. The wastage we get can cause pollution this can sloved by recycling it we can reuse the things which helps to reduce the globalwarming. For example the rural areas have high impact on this wastage and they may not have the knowledge the govt should provide class about recycling and help to keep dumping points.

The other thing that authorities can help public by providing the fecilities like bustbins for separating the wastage. Most of the people will mix the wastage so it becomes difficult to recycle this bins can help people to separate them. For example the India does not have this rule the waste is collected but the people will not segrgate them. this rule can help to do this things.

In conclusion, As the people think the govt should give an legal rule so that people helps in recycling the wastage. The legal rules like giving knowledge and providing bins would help the people to be more hygenic.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You give a relevant position by supporting legal measures, and you offer practical examples such as recycling education and separate bins. However, the response does not fully answer the key question of how far laws are needed: the body mainly describes what governments should provide, rather than explaining whether legal requirements are essential or whether other approaches could work. The conclusion repeats support for a legal rule but does not clarify its scope. Ideas such as the rural-area example and the claim about India are brief and not sufficiently explained. The response is also below the required 250 words, which limits the opportunity to develop reasons and examples. State your position more precisely and extend each main point with explanation and a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The paragraphs also have clear central topics, with one focusing on education and the other on bins. Basic signposting such as “For example” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow the overall direction. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: “The wastage we get can cause pollution this can sloved by recycling it” joins several ideas without clear links or punctuation. The repeated use of “the other thing” and “this rule” is also imprecise, and the conclusion largely repeats earlier points. Use clearer sentence boundaries and refer explicitly to the measure being discussed, then show how each example supports your argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “recycling,” “pollution,” “separating the wastage” and “dumping points,” so the reader can identify the subject and your main suggestions. However, the range is limited and several choices or forms are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “rise the recycling process,” “wastage,” “hygenic” and “fecilities.” Repetition of “people,” “help” and “rule” also makes the argument less precise. Some errors, including “globalwarming” and “segrgate,” may slow the reader, although the intended meaning is generally recoverable. Build a more accurate set of topic collocations and vary repeated words; for example, use “increase recycling rates” and “household waste” where appropriate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the overall meaning is usually understandable. However, the range of structures is limited, and attempts to connect clauses often produce faulty sentences. For example, “The wastage we get can cause pollution this can sloved by recycling it” lacks a clear sentence boundary and has an incorrect verb form. There are also recurring problems with agreement and articles, as in “The majority of public think” and “it is good idea,” as well as sentence construction in “the people will not segrgate them.” Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, particularly after full stops and in the conclusion. Practise accurate clause joining, subject–verb agreement and article use before attempting longer sentences.
