Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is certainly true that nowadays, there is a lot of debate that the waste of homes are not enough recycled. Some argue that its only possible if governments make it a legal requirement. I believe its beneficial to make it a necessary requirment, so that people has a sence of responsibility.
Firstly, the main factor that individuals take it as a state order, therefore they try to follow it and if governments take serious steps we can do it. For instance, we have a few examples of those countries who are using waste of their countries to run trains. It is also advantageous for the progress of our country and for this laws are mandotrary. Because public admire the laws; although, we all are lazy so we need someone to remind us these kind of responsibilites.
Secondly, In my opinion governments need to announce some kind of rewards for the individulas who are doing what governments asked them to do. As it keeps them motivate and also give them a sence of a good citizen. However, for the implementations of these rules we need a force who keeps the recodes of the families and also arrange a punishments for those who are not cooprative.
To sum up, I believe that rules are as crucial as the other steps so that public become more responsible. Moreover, there is also a system which is requird for check and balance. Along with that we as public also need to help our state to keep our environment pollution free.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you support making recycling compulsory, and you give relevant reasons, including public responsibility and the use of rewards and penalties. The response therefore addresses the central question. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The example of countries using waste to run trains is not explained or linked clearly to why a legal requirement increases household recycling. The suggestion to reward compliant individuals also introduces an additional measure without clarifying how it relates to your view about laws. Develop each point with a specific explanation or example, and make clear whether laws are essential on their own or should be combined with incentives and public education.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “Firstly” and “Secondly,” and a conclusion. This makes the main line of argument easy to follow. Some connections between ideas are less clear, however. In the first body paragraph, the move from people following state orders to countries using waste to run trains is abrupt, and “Because public admire the laws” does not clearly connect to the preceding point. The second paragraph also combines rewards, motivation, record-keeping and punishment without showing how these measures fit together. Use clearer links between each claim and its explanation, and avoid connectors such as “However” where the relationship is not a contrast.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “legal requirement,” “rewards,” “punishments” and “environment,” so the reader can understand the subject and your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling problems make the writing less precise. Phrases such as “the waste of homes,” “take it as a state order” and “keeps them motivate” are not natural in this context. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “requirment,” “mandotrary” and “cooprative.” Build a more accurate set of recycling-related expressions and check spelling and word forms carefully; this will help you express your ideas more clearly and naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including clauses introduced by “so that” and “who,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to read. For example, “the waste of homes are not enough recycled” has problems with agreement and passive construction, while “people has a sence of responsibility” has subject–verb agreement errors. In “a force who keeps the recodes of the families,” the relative clause is also awkwardly formed. Practise accurate passive forms, subject–verb agreement and sentence boundaries, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
