Student answer (Band 6.5)
MANY PEOPLE THINK THAT NOT ENOUGH OF THE WASTE FROM RESIDENCES IS RECYCLED SO THEY SAY THAT THE ONLY OPTION TO BOOST RECYCLING IS FOR GOVERNMENTS TO MAKE IT A LEGAL DEMAND. WHILE RECYCLING IS DISCUSSED, THERE ARE DIVIDED OPINIONS. MEANWHILE, NOT ONLY BOTH VIEW BUT ALSO MY OPINION WILL BE DISCUSSED IN ENSURING PARAGRAPHS, ALONG WITH EXAMPLE.
DISCUSSING THE REASONS TO SUPPORT MY AGREEMENT, THE MOST EVIDENT ONE IS NOT ENOUGH OF THE WASTE FROM HOMES IS RECYCLED. TO JUSTIFY IT FURTHER, HOME WASTE IS NOT COMPLETELLY RECYCLING BEACUSE OF LACK OF AWARENESS ABOUT THE RECYCLING PROCESS AND NEED OF RECYCLING HOME WASTE. FOR ENSURE, IN TODAY'S COMPLEX WORLD WHEN THE CLIMATE CHANGE AND ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES ACCURED RECYCLING PROCESS AS IMPORTANT AS TREE PLANTATION AND SAVE WATER MOVMENT. ONE PROMINENT EXAMPLE IS DELHI GOVERNMENT HOME WASTE RECYCLING PLANT. THIS PROGRAM RECYCLE THE ENITRE HOMW WASTE INCLUDING MILK BOTTLE, PLASTICS BAGES, CLOTHES AND PAPER BAGES. THIS PLANT CONVERT THE WASTE TO REUSABLE PRODUCTS.
ON OTHER HAND, IT IS TRUE THAT NOT ONLY GOVERMENT BODIES BUT SOCIETY AND INDIVIDUALS ALSO PLAY A SIGNIFICANT ROLE IN RECYCLING PROCESS. ANOTHER ONE SUPPORTING REASONS FOR MY BELIEF IS GOVERNMENTS MAKE RULES AND REGULATIONS REGARDING TO REDUCE THE WASTE AND HOW TO INCREASE THE RECYCLING OF RESIDENTIAL WASTE. IN MANY COUNTRIES HAVE INTRODUCED STRICT LAWS. ONE PROMINENT EXAMPLE IS GERMANY. IN GERMANY, HOUSEHOLDS ARE EXPECTED TO SEPRATE WASTE, SUCH AS PAPER, GLASS, PACKAGING AND ORGANIC WASTE.
IN CONCLUSION, IN THIS CONTEMPORARY ERA, THERE IS EQUALLY POTENTIAL EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT THE ARGUMENT I HAVE PROVIDED, HENCE IN MY OPINION INDIVIDUALS SHOULD AWARE ABOUT THE RECYCLING AND GOVERNMENTS INTRODUCES THE AWARNESS POLICY AND RULES FOR INCREASE RECYCLING.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a position throughout, though the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention the need for government intervention, the arguments are repetitive and lack depth. For instance, the point about 'lack of awareness' is mentioned but not fully explored in relation to why laws are the necessary solution. The examples provided, such as the Delhi plant and German waste separation, are relevant but could be better integrated to support your argument more persuasively. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a distinct, well-explained reason that directly answers the 'to what extent' aspect of the prompt.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'Meanwhile, not only both view but also my opinion will be discussed'. Some transitions between sentences feel forced, and the referencing is occasionally unclear. While the overall progression is logical, the lack of sophisticated linking words makes the flow feel somewhat disjointed. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of cohesive devices more naturally to connect your ideas and sentences.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. However, there are several spelling errors (e.g., 'completeelly', 'beacuse', 'enitre', 'homw', 'seprate') and some word choice issues, such as 'legal demand' instead of 'legal requirement' or 'legislative mandate'. You rely on a somewhat limited range of vocabulary, repeating words like 'recycling' and 'waste' frequently. To improve, try to incorporate more precise synonyms and collocations, and ensure you proofread carefully to eliminate basic spelling mistakes that distract from your message.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Examples include 'when the climate change and environmental issues accured' and 'individuals should aware about'. There are also issues with subject-verb agreement and article usage. While you attempt complex structures, they are often faulty, which limits your score in this criterion. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and subject-verb agreement before attempting more complex grammatical forms. Proofreading for common errors like missing verbs or incorrect prepositions will also be beneficial.
