Student answer (Band 6.0)

In this society, few individuals are of the thought of that limited quantity of waste from flats or homes is refurbished. According to their statement, the sole reason to raise the recycling of wastes is for administration to make it authorized necessity. As by ignoring this issue can lead to harmful diseases and can cause a serious damage to economy of the country.in this essay i will discuss that to what extent people need to recycle the waste by giving reasons and relevant and suitable examples.

As people of this mindset knows very well that by recycling our daily life waste can prevent us by major issues. Daily life wastes include electronics ,garbage, and so on, which we threw out when not needed or when it is outdated or ruined, By not doing this we can simply fix them with the help of social media like there are many channels that teaches us how to fix such things. through which we can reuse them instead of throwing out from the house. these also includes plastic bottles, scrab, metal or some woods, we can use them in decorating our house. For example, woods or cardboards can used in beds, or in storage compartment.

They also have a claim that the government should be aware with this and must have make some lawful agreements so that people will do this as they do their other daily life duties, as if government will involve themselves in this situation the work or the duty will be done more accurately. As if we do not recycle the waste and threw it out of the house which can er reused, we are simply destroying our societies day by day. As if the waste is thrown daily it is just spoiling our environment.

According to my opinion there would be strict laws for this situation so that people will recycle their waste and will use the. For example, fruit waste can be again used in growing new fruits, clothes can converted into rage, plastic bottles can be used as plant pots.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the necessity of recycling laws. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. While you mention the benefits of recycling and the role of government, the arguments lack depth and specific, real-world examples of how legislation has worked elsewhere. The position is clear, but the supporting points are often descriptive rather than analytical. To improve, ensure that each paragraph focuses on a distinct aspect of the argument and provides more detailed reasoning to support your claims, rather than simply restating the need for recycling.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or repetitive (e.g., 'As if', 'According to my opinion'). Some transitions between sentences are abrupt, making the flow feel disjointed. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'they also have a claim', where the antecedent is not explicitly defined. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence logically follows from the previous one to create a more cohesive argument.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward word choices, such as 'refurbished' to describe waste, 'authorized necessity' instead of 'legal requirement', and 'scrab' (likely meant 'scrap'). Some phrases are repetitive, such as 'daily life waste' and 'daily life duties'. To improve, try to use more academic collocations and precise terminology related to environmental issues, and ensure that words are used in their correct context to convey your meaning more effectively.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'people of this mindset knows'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'must have make'), and punctuation errors, such as missing spaces after periods and incorrect capitalization. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement and tense consistency would significantly improve your score.
