Student answer (Band 6.5)
Several individuals believe that not enough of the left waste is recycled .They enquire that the only method to increase recycling is for government to make it a legal requirement. This has become one of the most concerned topic in this contemporary society.
The main reason why people consider that government should take action against the onev who do not recycle waste is pollution. Pollution is hazardous for nature. The waste is mostly plastic and rubber. This waste do not dissolve in mud like other remainings of nature.
This is why individuals are worried and they are asking government for assistance. According to them if any law made by government will be most likely to helpful and people will recycle waste on time.
In my perspective there is no need for making any law .
Government can solve the issue like Germany did .
Germany air index quality is better than numerous countries this is because they had gone an extra mile .
In Germany there are recycling machines they are similar to vending machines however these machines are used by citizen as a trash bin . People insert there waste and bottles in the hole one after another in addition they get voucher which they later use for discounts at grocery stores. As we can Germany had done this without even distributing any judicial authorities just by encouraging individuals to get cash .
Government can do many another things like this just to encourage people to recycling waste instead of throwing it .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing whether recycling should be mandatory. You clearly state your position that laws are unnecessary, preferring incentive-based systems. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide a relevant example from Germany, the explanation of why laws are ineffective is underdeveloped. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the potential drawbacks of legislation (e.g., enforcement costs, public resistance) or provide more depth on how incentive programs function globally. The response is balanced, but the arguments lack the depth required for a higher score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and limited. Transitions between sentences are often abrupt, such as the jump between discussing pollution and the suggestion of laws. You rely on simple connectors like 'This is why' and 'In addition'. To improve, try using a wider variety of linking words and phrases to show the relationship between your ideas more fluidly (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'on the other hand'). Paragraphing is present, but the internal flow within paragraphs could be smoother.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and range expected at higher levels. You use some basic terms like 'left waste' (which is unnatural) and 'remainings of nature'. There are also some word-choice errors, such as 'distributing any judicial authorities' and 'concerned topic'. To improve, focus on using more academic collocations and precise terminology related to environmental issues. While your meaning is clear, the lack of variety and occasional awkward phrasing limits your score in this criterion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include 'The waste do not dissolve' (subject-verb agreement), 'if any law made by government will be most likely to helpful' (missing verb/awkward structure), and 'Germany air index quality' (missing possessive). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with spacing around periods. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score.
