Student answer (Band 5.5)
A large number of population is increasing rapidly day by day with the passage of time which can cause pollution bu using different items at the home, offices, gardens or on the roads. But they all don't think about the recycle of wastages.
In now a days every person have a busy schedule an they don't recyle their home wastages. Mostly people think that recycling of home wastages can cause their waste of time, they don;t take them serious that wastages of home can cause pollution from which their childs can be ill. More-ever some of the people don't have any awareness for which government should want to take some steps for that like gave them awareness through Tv advertisement or by the newspaper. In modern era every one is using smartphones, tablets or any other electronical gadgets, so government should want to take benefit from those by recycling awareness. Government also should want to pass some rules through legislation for recyling of home wastages. Although a large number of peoples think that home wastages recycling are not their work, Government should want to aware them in their schools, collages and universities. They also should want to hire some private firms which can help people to decompose their home wastages or to learn people that how can they recycle home wastages. However some of the people have awareness for recycling of home wastages but they don't know that have sufficent amount for that so goverment also should want to contribute some funds for them also.
In conclusion people and government should want to recycle their wastages of home by mutual support of awareness and by funding for the people.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the role of government legislation in recycling. However, the development of ideas is limited and somewhat repetitive. While you mention awareness campaigns and funding, the argument lacks depth and specific examples of how legal requirements would function in practice. The position is generally clear, but the essay relies heavily on listing suggestions rather than critically evaluating the extent to which laws are necessary. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a distinct argument that is fully supported with logical reasoning or illustrative examples, rather than simply stating that the government should take action.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. The transition between ideas is often abrupt, and the use of cohesive devices is limited and sometimes repetitive (e.g., the frequent use of 'government should want to'). Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks a clear topic sentence and supporting details. Referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of the argument. To improve, use a wider variety of linking words such as 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'in contrast' to connect your ideas more fluidly.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is basic and repetitive, which limits the ability to convey complex ideas. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice, such as 'wastages' (which is non-standard in this context; 'waste' is preferred) and 'electronical gadgets' (should be 'electronic'). The range of vocabulary is narrow, and there is little attempt to use less common or more precise terminology. To reach a higher band, focus on learning collocations and synonyms for common words like 'people', 'government', and 'recycling' to avoid constant repetition and to add precision to your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('every person have', 'childs can be ill'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are simple or contain run-on structures that lack proper punctuation. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors causes some difficulty for the reader. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and the correct use of plurals. Additionally, try to incorporate more complex sentence structures, such as conditional sentences or relative clauses, while ensuring they are punctuated correctly.
