Student answer (Band 5.0)
Recycling is the process of reuse of waste products.
The unparalleled significance of recycling cannot be refuted because it has close relevance to our lives. Some people opine that it is not enough to recycle waste on domestic level and our government must take legal action. According to my point of view it should be taken as a natoinal issue their should be some laws.
Initially, some individuals think that it is not only a domestic issue it is a national issue. They think that government wants create a strict laws for recyling. If waste products is not recycled they create a envormental polution. For example; if people threw their waste in open reather then recycling it make massive poiution and if government make law that no one can be able to throw waste in opne and if anyone done this he would have to pay fine or punishment.
While individuals should took it as a self responsibility to recyle the waste. If people took it as a self responsibility or government make to much strict laws this issue of waste material will be over in coming time. If it will not control its will create a un control able situation that leads to plethora of problems in future.
According to my point of view if government took legal actions then we willl overcome from this problem. Government's legal action play a vital role in increasing waste recycling process. Due to stricket laws no one wolud be able to threw waste in open they send waste metrials for recycling.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing whether governments should make recycling a legal requirement, presenting a clear personal position that laws are necessary. Ideas are introduced, but the development is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the student states that government action will solve the problem and mentions fines for throwing waste in the open, but these points are generalized without strong supporting examples or broader exploration of alternative solutions such as incentives or education. While the stance is maintained throughout the essay, the arguments remain basic and underdeveloped, which aligns closely with the criteria for Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay demonstrates some overall organisation, attempting an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the progression of ideas is hindered by repetitive phrasing and inadequate paragraph structure. Cohesive devices are basic and sometimes inaccurate, such as repetitive use of transitional phrases like 'According to my point of view' and 'For example;'. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal logical links between sentences are frequently weak. For instance, the transition from discussing environmental pollution to individual responsibility is abrupt. Referencing is occasionally unclear, placing this performance at Band 5.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and repetitive, with noticeable errors in word choice and spelling throughout the text. Examples include 'natoinal', 'envormental polution', 'reather', 'stricket', and 'metrials'. The student attempts some less common vocabulary such as 'unparalleled significance', 'plethora of problems', and 'vital role', but frequent inaccuracies in collocation and spelling cause some difficulty for the reader and impede comprehension in places. The range is minimally adequate for the task, matching the requirements for a Band 5.0 score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control over grammar is weak. There are frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('waste products is not recycled', 'government wants create'), incorrect verb forms ('anyone done this'), and awkward phrasing ('no one can be able to throw waste'). Punctuation is also problematic, with incorrect semicolon usage and run-on sentences. These frequent errors cause difficulty for the reader, placing the grammatical performance firmly at a Band 5.0 level.
