Student answer (Band 4.5)
Few people say that not so much of wastage form houses is been recycled. They claim that the only path for the increment of recycling is for states to make it legal needs. Now a day recycling is very important thing for the better enviorment and for the growth of country.
In this eassy we will discuss about the problems that has been occur during the process of recycling. Some people claim the garbage of homes is not been recycled so much. Because people think it is very effortfull because when the product has been used people can firstly save them then wash hom and then go to market to sell this waste however the problem is that the monet get form this process is very low thats way the people choose the other method of wasting which is effortless.for instance the people throw the bottels after the use instead of recycling which make our land polluted. The other reason is that the goverment do not make any rules to increase the process of recycling its very necessary.
I think law is very important for the process of recycling because if the peoples has any fear form the government in the form of punishments such as challans if peoples think about this then they must recyle all the waste which is come out form their houses and people do not spread their garbage in lands they focus to recycle the product instead of wasting thats why i think the government must be make law for this purpose.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the role of government laws in encouraging recycling, and presents a clear personal position that laws are necessary. However, the development of ideas is limited and repetitive. For instance, the writer mentions that recycling requires too much effort and yields low financial return, and then argues that punishments like challans would force compliance. While all parts of the task are touched upon, the explanation lacks depth, specific external examples, and thorough extension. The arguments tend to be overly generalized and somewhat basic. Based on the official descriptors, this performance aligns closely with Band 5, as the task is addressed, but the ideas remain under-developed and limited in scope.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0
The essay lacks proper paragraphing, presented instead as a poorly structured block of text with arbitrary line breaks that disrupt the logical flow. There is an attempt to introduce an essay outline ("In this eassy we will discuss..."), but the overall progression of ideas is disjointed. Cohesive devices are used in a rudimentary and repetitive manner, such as 'because' and 'thats why', making the transitions between sentences mechanical. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the lack of a clear conclusion further detracts from the overall organization. These features place the response firmly at Band 4, as information and ideas are not arranged coherently and paragraphing is inadequate.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.0
The lexical resource is limited and basic, containing frequent spelling and word-choice errors that occasionally strain the reader's comprehension. Examples of non-standard usage and misspellings include 'wastage form houses', 'enviorment', 'eassy', 'effortfull', 'hom', 'monet', 'botels', and 'goverment'. The vocabulary used is repetitive, relying heavily on basic terms like 'waste', 'recycling', 'people', and 'garbage'. There is a lack of less common lexical items, and word forms are frequently inaccurate, such as 'legal needs' instead of 'legal requirements'. This performance matches the Band 4 descriptor, where basic vocabulary and frequent errors strain the reader.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The grammatical range is severely restricted, consisting mainly of simple and error-prone complex structures. The text contains frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('the government do not make', 'the government must be make'), incorrect tense usage ('has been occur', 'is been recycled'), and missing articles. Punctuation and capitalization are also problematic throughout the response. Complex sentence attempts are consistently faulty, and heavy errors frequently cause difficulty for the reader and obscure meaning. Therefore, this warrants a Band 4, as errors are frequent and often distort meaning.
