Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some people believe that insufficient amount of waste is being recyclied, saying that authorities responsible for recycling waste should take required measures on it. In my opinion, the government must increase the awarness in people and come up with related laws in society.
Overall, people should know how to separate different waste products according to their desposal, like wet waste like food, fruits and others need to be separated from dry waste papers, plastics and so on. For this the officials need to spread knowleage and make required laws on desposal of waste so that public can know the importance of waste disposal, for example appointing people and conducting survey and taking people opinions how they generally discard the waste from their houses, by this we can proceed on making awarness of waste separation or printing a details of it on newspapers and arranging dustbins at different locations.
The government should take the related measures so the general public can follow the rules which made by the government and make correct use of the laws.
In conclusion, all people in the socity should know the ways of disposal of waste and correst way to discard them so that the envitonment and other animals leaving around us will be safe with us and desreasing the weast.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.5
The response attempts to address the prompt by discussing government laws and awareness regarding waste disposal. However, your essay contains only 215 words, which falls short of the minimum 250-word requirement. This under-length impacts your task achievement score as the ideas are underdeveloped and lack sufficient supporting examples. While you present an opinion and suggest measures like 'appointing people and conducting survey', the arguments remain repetitive and lack depth. To improve, you need to ensure you meet the word count and extend your main ideas with fully explained examples and clear justifications for your position.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay displays a basic logical flow with an introduction, body, and conclusion, but the overall progression is hindered by poor paragraphing and repetitive phrasing. For instance, the second body paragraph runs together multiple distinct ideas about awareness, laws, and methods without clear separation. Cohesive devices are minimal and sometimes inaccurate, such as using 'For this' awkwardly to link sentences. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, as seen in phrases like 'taking people opinions how they generally discard the waste'. Paragraphing needs to be managed more effectively to separate distinct points.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is relatively basic and repetitive throughout the text. There are numerous spelling errors and incorrect word forms, such as 'recyclied' instead of recycled, 'awarness' instead of awareness, 'desposal' instead of disposal, and 'socity' instead of society. Less common lexical items are attempted but used incorrectly or awkwardly, such as 'correst way' and 'desreasing the weast'. While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey a general meaning, these frequent errors and limited range restrict your band score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The text relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and your attempts at complex sentences often result in grammatical errors and run-on sentences. For example, sentences like 'For this the officials need to spread knowleage and make required laws on desposal of waste so that public can know the importance of waste disposal, for example appointing people...' are overly long and grammatically tangled. There are frequent errors in verb forms, prepositions, and punctuation, such as 'rules which made by the government' missing a passive auxiliary. These errors occasionally cause difficulty for the reader.
