Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is undeniable that recycling of waste material is a biggest requirement to save enviourment, animals, birds and humans. In this regards, few people claims that not enough of the waste from homes is recycled. They say that the only way to increase recycling is for governments to make it a legel requirement. This eassy will be outlined my perspective and my opinions which are in favor of formers point of view in upcoming paragraphs with a logical conclusion.

To commence with, government should have to make recycling a legal requirement because as we all know it will pollute not only the earth but also affect our health. As we know most of the home waste includes plastic bags of grocery products.Plastic is the most important to worry about. even banning plastic can make the recycling of waste products easyas it is non degardable. Instead of plastic goverment should have to work on biodegradeable bags for grocery items.Secondly, recycling bins were installed in every cities so people can put their waste for recycling and can earn rewards this can make people exicted.

To justify it,example, i put 100 plastic cans in the bin and i earn some points can receive in the form of money. moving on to what extent laws are needed, the laws should have to be strict as we know we are at that level where we see usage of most harmful plastic. Government should make the strict law for limit the use of plastic as should able to avoid it completly. Some laws like using plastic bins , avoiding plastic, keeping cleane streets will be enough to making recycling better.

In conclusion ,Governments don't need many laws. Smart moves like banning plastic or reducing plastic will already do much more to reduce harmful waste found in homes however biodegradable things are easy to degrade and recycle and we should not worry much about it.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt only partially. While the writer takes a stance in favor of government legislation regarding recycling, the ideas remain limited and under-developed. For instance, the introduction relies on a heavily memorized template ('This eassy will be outlined my perspective...') rather than addressing the specific nuances of the prompt. Furthermore, the discussion tends to drift between general statements about plastic pollution, reward systems, and the final paragraph's contradictory conclusion that governments do not need many laws. Ideas lack sufficient support, and the reasoning is often repetitive, which keeps the task response limited.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

There is some basic organization with discernible paragraph breaks, but the response lacks a clear overall progression. Cohesive devices are frequently inadequate, inaccurate, or repetitive, such as the mechanical transitions used to start paragraphs like 'To commence with' and 'To justify it, example'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the mechanical repetition of sentence starters creates a choppy flow. While paragraphing is attempted, the internal logic within paragraphs needs stronger cohesive ties to guide the reader smoothly through the argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary range is limited but minimally adequate to convey the basic topic. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'biodegradable' and 'requirement', but these are accompanied by noticeable errors in word form, spelling, and word choice, including 'enviourment', 'legel', 'degardable', and 'exicted'. These lexical inaccuracies and spelling mistakes cause some difficulty for the reader and reflect a restricted control over word formation and precise collocation.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The student uses a limited range of sentence structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and basic coordination. Attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty, leading to frequent errors in grammar, subject-verb agreement, articles, and punctuation. Examples include 'recycling of waste material is a biggest requirement', 'few people claims', 'government should have to make', and punctuation lapses like missing spaces after periods. These frequent errors cause strain and difficulty for the reader throughout the text.
