Student answer (Band 5.0)
as per the citizens claims recyclation of home waste are not that much for that government should impose a legal laws for prolifrate the recycling of the waste. i completely agree with the fact that government need to impose strict laws for recycling.
government should impose a strict law to regulate the waste because waste can cause myriad diases. also waste is the biggest problem on the earth which is causing certain conditions like ozon deplition and global warming and air pollution and several other problems. so if government impose the strict rules and the laws regarding this than in house there is lower items are coming which unable to degrade and also citizen aware about the waste recyclation and give the priority to give item into a recyclation. by this inisiatives we can lawer the global problems at certain extinct.for Example government impose a law for recyclation reward than public prolifrate the recycling of the waste.
in contrary, if government not impose any bill regarding the recyclaation its our duty to words our nation we keep them clean and polution free. in this situation government can help but they are the one who need to take a action to words the nation first. in this if the citizen is not recycle there home waste or not effectively utilize they unable to cure that. as an exmple if citizen is not recycling or not taking the step toword it goverment couldn't make it effective.
as per my opinion government can take a initiative towards a effective recyclation by imposing the laws and make the better nation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear position in agreement with laws for recycling, citing examples such as rewards. However, the ideas remain limited and under-developed throughout the essay. For instance, the mention of environmental issues like "ozon deplition and global warming" is not fully expanded to explain how legislation directly resolves these phenomena. The arguments tend to generalise without providing deep exploration, leaving certain parts of the task only partially addressed. To improve, the writer needs to extend their main ideas with more detailed explanations and coherent supporting examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is some basic organisation with paragraphs attempting to separate distinct viewpoints, but the essay lacks a clear overall progression. The logical flow is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions and confusing shifts between paragraphs, such as the abrupt introduction of opposing views without adequate signalling phrases. Cohesive devices are used mechanically or inadequately, making it difficult for the reader to follow the train of thought. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion needs significant strengthening through clearer referencing and logical sequencing of ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is limited and barely adequate for the task. The text contains frequent errors in word choice, spelling, and word formation, such as "recyclation" instead of recycling, "diases" instead of diseases, "prolifrate" instead of proliferate, and "lawer" instead of lower. These noticeable errors and non-standard forms cause some difficulty for the reader and impede smooth communication. To reach a higher band, the writer must expand their lexical repertoire and use correct word forms and spelling consistently.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The writer employs a limited range of sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are persistent errors in verb forms, tenses, subject-verb agreement, and articles, such as "government should impose a legal laws" and "if government impose the strict rules... then in house there is lower items are coming". These frequent grammatical errors cause strain and difficulty for the reader. Achieving a higher band requires mastering basic agreement rules, improving article usage, and ensuring that complex structures are formed accurately.
