Student answer (Band 5.0)
Yes, i dafenetly agree with that somethings like a broken instrument or something who don't recycl properly. Many other things who dose not abel to reuse or recycl.
In this repedly evolving world, people also change there life stile. As result people use many things who naver stay long or after long time they need to change it. For exampl clothes, cartine, wallpaper extra and maximum of tham can't recycl. Beouse of that home west produces very high and persnaly i belive goverment need to do something on it.
In my persnal experience i also thro many itams who abel to recycal but sadly in my countris no any proper method of recycl that type of thing. In this planet we have very limited resorsis for exampal iron, gold, silver, coper extra and many mordern equment like car, bike, bildings, electric equpments like mobile phone,T.V,computer and many more like that need to biled that type of matels and matrials. In the futcher the demand of this type of things is very highly incrised and when slowly that all resorse are and production compnys incrise price of that products and its not good thing for a countrys economy.
In my opinian, goverment need to spand money on resurh and devlopment on recycl secter. Also blid a new factrorys capeble mucine and proper work and menegment. Frist we find out the way to how to sepret the reuse matrial from that type of things and than recycl and made new products from tham. For example electronics itams like leptop, phone extra they have very expencive and rear metals in small amount for example silver becouse its very good cundcter of electycity that why silver type of metals use in micro chips, semi condecter exetra.
In conclution the goverment and people need to understend that how much important to recycl itam is and do somthing and devlop recycl stetion and plants.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt partially, presenting a clear position that governments should intervene and mandate recycling, but the ideas remain limited and under-developed. For instance, the writer mentions that modern lifestyles and items such as 'clothes, cartine, wallpaper extra' contribute to household waste, but fails to explore how legal requirements specifically solve this problem. Examples provided, such as personal experiences with throwing away items due to a lack of local recycling methods, are anecdotal rather than fully explored arguments related to the prompt. To move to a higher band, the response would need to extend and support its arguments with more thorough explanations and relevant examples regarding the necessity and impact of laws on recycling habits.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay displays some overall organization with a clear paragraph structure separating the introduction, body points, and conclusion, but it lacks a clear progression throughout. Cohesive devices are frequently inadequate, inaccurate, or repetitive, relying heavily on basic connectors like 'In my opinion', 'For example', and 'In conclusion'. Furthermore, referencing is not always clear, and the logical transition between ideas within paragraphs is sometimes abrupt, such as jumping from personal waste to limited planetary resources in the third paragraph. To achieve a higher band, the writer must use a wider range of cohesive devices more accurately and ensure that each paragraph builds logically upon the previous one with clear conceptual links.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The lexical resource is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The vocabulary used is quite basic, and there are noticeable errors in word choice, word form, and spelling throughout the text, such as 'dafenetly' instead of definitely, 'life stile' for lifestyle, 'west' for waste, 'itams' for items, and 'cundcter' for conductor. These frequent errors and inaccuracies sometimes cause difficulty for the reader and reflect a restricted vocabulary. To reach a higher band, the writer needs to incorporate a wider and more precise range of vocabulary, demonstrating better control of spelling, collocations, and less common lexical items related to environmental issues.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The essay demonstrates a very limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple sentences, while attempts at more complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are persistent errors in basic grammatical patterns, verb forms, plurals, and articles, such as 'somethings like a broken instrument or something who don't recycl properly', 'many other things who dose not abel', and 'goverment need to spand money'. Frequent errors in punctuation and sentence boundaries also cause difficulty for the reader. To progress to a higher band, the writer must produce a greater variety of complex structures with improved accuracy, ensuring that the majority of sentences are free from basic grammatical and structural errors.
