Student answer (Band 5.5)
Waste from homes were not recycling sufficiently believe by few people . Individuals say that it is government responsibility to rise recycling. In my opinion it is not true. So, in the forthcoming paragraphs, I have suggested some reason behind this trend and I have also provided few solutions associated with this trend.
Taking into account some reasons associated with this trend, first and foremost is,it is not only government duty because people shoud to recyle their own waste. Nowadays, people becomes very careless and do lathargic activities such as, littering roads, spiting anywhere and polluting nature. So, they should cooparate government duties and try to recycle waste by contacting corporators . As a result, recycling waste on time can helps to maintain their health good and also lowering government's work load.
Now, considering the otherside, government should make strict laws for improving recycling for saving environment. As we know that , plenty of things were made by recycling for instance, paper, pencil and plastics. So, it is necessary to make laws, which helps to moving people towards recycling. It can lead to decrease the amount quantity of waste.
In addition, making laws for recycling can encourage individuals to be in clean and making less waste. In this modern era, people are not aware about their health and making more and more waste and the worst part of this they do not know the benefits of recycling, So, by making laws can spread awreness among societies and motivate citizen. It can be easy for government also.
To conclude, recycling waste is not only society's responsibility but people also participate to help government. On the other hand, making laws by government can save enviornment and encorage people to create less waste.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a relevant response by arguing that recycling is not solely the government’s responsibility while also supporting laws to encourage it. This addresses the central question, but your position on how necessary laws are remains somewhat unclear: the introduction says the claim is “not true,” while later paragraphs say strict laws are necessary. Clarify whether laws are essential, helpful but insufficient, or only one part of the solution. Your points about health, reducing government workload, and raising awareness are relevant, but they are asserted rather than explained or supported with a specific example. Develop one or two reasons in more depth and show how a legal requirement would change household behaviour.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable introduction, body paragraphs and conclusion, and signposts such as “first and foremost,” “In addition,” and “To conclude” help readers follow the broad structure. However, progression is not always clear: the introduction promises “some reason” and “solutions,” although the task asks for your view, and the first body paragraph shifts between personal responsibility, littering and health without showing their precise connection to recycling. The contrast introduced by “On the other hand” in the conclusion is also unclear because the two responsibilities are not opposing ideas. Use topic sentences that directly advance your position, connect each supporting point explicitly, and avoid relying on formulaic transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “recycle,” “waste,” “strict laws,” “environment” and “awareness,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts difficult to interpret. For example, “rise recycling” and “lathargic activities” do not express the intended ideas naturally, while “making less waste” is repeated in place of more precise wording. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “shoud,” “recyle,” “cooparate,” “awreness” and “enviornment.” Build a more precise set of phrases for household recycling and legislation, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses beginning with “because,” “which” and “as a result.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in basic sentence construction and agreement occur frequently. The opening, “Waste from homes were not recycling sufficiently believe by few people,” is difficult to follow because its word order and verb forms are incorrect. Other examples include “people becomes,” “can helps,” and “laws, which helps,” where subject–verb agreement is not controlled. Articles and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “a clean” idea expressed as “be in clean” and the spaces before commas. Practise accurate subject–verb patterns and build longer sentences from a correct main clause before adding subordinate information.
