Student answer (Band 5.5)

I strongly agree with this notion, goverment should imposed some strict rules and provide subsidies to promote the waste recycling process. This essay is going to discuss about some reasons that support my statement.

To begin with the first and foremost important reason, authority should start high fine slab for those recycling companies which are not doing their job properly. Consequently, the trashes produced in every house will be shorted accordingly and managed and reused properly. For instance, most of the countrey has their own kind of waste recycling agencies that collects the waste from ground level and recycled them to make useable products, if goverment strictly ordered them to recycle in maximum potential then waste management problem will be solve.

Moreover, goverment should provide subsidies to the recycling companies and individual inhabitant to promote recycling. The local bodies should provide some awarness progam to the educational sectors and related authorities. In addition, goverment has to mediate between recycling companies and production companies and establish a strong symbiotic relation. As a result the a chain of demand and supply will be fulfill, recycling companies will collect and recycles trashes into raw materials which will be used by production companies to make various plastic items and other kind of organic manure etc. Giving one example of this is a bill passed by the Goverment of Bangladesh related to promote waste recycling. They are earning good amount of income with bins and also improve their marketing strategy.

In conclusion, goverment should think about a strict circular and encourages their citizens and related bodies to facilitate the recycling process properly.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear from the opening: you strongly support government action, and the response gives relevant reasons, including fines, subsidies, public awareness, and links between recycling and production companies. The Bangladesh example also attempts to illustrate how policy can support recycling. However, the answer does not fully focus on the question of whether laws are needed to make householders recycle more: the first main point shifts to penalising recycling companies, and the example is not explained clearly enough to show how it affects household behaviour. Some ideas, such as subsidies for individuals and awareness programmes, are introduced but not developed with specific mechanisms or outcomes. Explain how legal requirements would change residents’ actions, and extend each example to show its relevance.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas generally move from enforcement to incentives and cooperation. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “In addition,” and “As a result” help signal relationships between points. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear: “To begin with the first and foremost important reason” is repetitive, while the long sentence beginning “As a result” combines several stages of the recycling chain and is difficult to follow. The reference to “They” in the Bangladesh example is also unclear. Use simpler transitions, divide complex explanations into shorter sentences, and make pronoun references explicit to improve progression.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “subsidies,” “waste management,” “raw materials,” and “symbiotic relation,” which helps communicate the subject. There are also several inaccurate or unnatural choices that reduce precision, such as “high fine slab,” “shorted” for waste being sorted, and “useable products.” Spelling errors, including “goverment,” “countrey,” and “awarness,” are noticeable, and some wording is repetitive, particularly repeated references to “government” and “recycling companies.” These errors do not prevent the reader from understanding the main argument, but they limit the accuracy and flexibility of the vocabulary. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for enforcement, household waste, and recycling.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple statements and attempts at longer, complex sentences, for example the sentence explaining how recycled materials can be used by production companies. However, control of these structures is uneven. Verb forms and agreement are problematic in phrases such as “government should imposed,” “agencies that collects,” and “the chain of demand and supply will be fulfill.” Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention: the opening joins two independent clauses with a comma, and “the a chain” contains an article error. These issues sometimes make relationships between ideas harder to follow. Practise accurate modal constructions (“should impose”), subject–verb agreement, and past participles, then proofread long sentences for punctuation and article use.
