Student answer (Band 5.0)
Few indivisuals believe that the waste material collected from our houses id not completely recycled and not able to reuse . They think that there is only one solution of this problem, governments need to include it in law and ensure recycling of the wastage. The society is not serious about recycling and Establishment have to take action to prevent this ignorance. In this essay, i will try my best to explain the topic of importance of laws needed to make people aware of recycling more of their waste. As well as, to add reasons and examples from my own knowlwdge and experience.
There ia a claim that a part from wastage of our homes can be recycled and again used. Our enviorment is getting hurted by the permanent waste material. This issue is not getting enough importance from the youth. Over the next decade, this waste problem will be the main reason of serious deseases. Some perople think that burning this waste is the way to clean enviorment, but this make it more worse. There is no proper technique introduced yet to clean our enviorment from this wastage. We are not able to clean our society but we can low the waste by recycling these material.
Nowadays, people are not aware of recycling and unabe to take this serious. Government official should take notice on it and use laws to ensure the proper recycling and reduce the waste as much as we can. In addition, There should be proper laws which are designed to ensure recyling. There should be a goal given to citizen to recycle as much and they will get a prize, when they achieve their goal.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You identify the issue and indicate support for government action, especially in “Government official should take notice on it and use laws.” However, the response only partially answers how far laws are needed: it does not clearly distinguish laws from other ways to encourage recycling, and your position is not consistently stated. The proposed “goal” and “prize” introduce an incentive, but the relationship between this and legal requirements is unclear. Several points—such as harm to the environment and the effects of burning waste—are relevant, yet they are asserted rather than explained with specific examples or evidence. State your view directly, then develop two reasons showing when regulation is necessary and how it could increase household recycling.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has paragraphs and a broadly recognisable movement from introducing the issue to discussing environmental concerns and government action. Basic links such as “In addition” and “but” help connect some points. However, there is no clear overall progression: the second paragraph shifts among youth awareness, future disease, burning waste, and recycling without showing how each point supports your answer about laws. The introduction also promises reasons and examples, but the body does not provide a developed example. Some connections are mechanical or unclear, including “As well as, to add reasons” and the transition from legal requirements to prizes. Organise each body paragraph around one main reason, use clear references to connect ideas, and finish with a conclusion that restates your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “recycling,” “waste material,” “environment,” and “legal requirement,” so the subject is generally identifiable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning awkward, such as “waste material collected from our houses,” “take notice on it,” and “clean our environment from this wastage.” Repetition of “waste,” “recycling,” and “environment” also limits precision. Spelling errors are noticeable, including “indivisuals,” “enviorment,” “deseases,” and “recyling,” and these can slow the reader. Build a more accurate set of topic phrases, such as “household waste,” “separate recyclable materials,” and “reduce landfill,” and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, for example, “Some people think that burning this waste is the way to clean environment, but this make it more worse.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “waste material … is not completely recycled and not able to reuse,” where the structure is incomplete, and “this make it more worse,” which has subject–verb and comparative-form problems. There are also errors in agreement and sentence construction, as in “Government official should take notice on it,” and the opening contains a run-on sequence of ideas. Practise complete clauses, consistent subject–verb agreement, and accurate sentence boundaries; then proofread each sentence for one clear grammatical structure.
