Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5
The response gives a broad position that recycling should involve individuals as well as government, especially in “its not just goverment duety its include all people.” This is relevant to the question, but it does not clearly explain the extent to which laws are needed: the essay neither argues directly for or against legal requirements nor considers how laws might increase recycling. Ideas about government responsibility and society are repeated rather than supported with reasons or examples. The claim that people should “take all reposebilites in your hands” is not developed into a practical explanation. The response also falls short of the required 250 words, leaving too little space to address the task fully. Develop a clear position on legislation and support it with specific examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5
There is a recognisable central theme—shared responsibility for recycling—and some linking expressions, including “because,” “Similarly,” and “also.” However, the ideas are not arranged into clear paragraphs, and the response moves between government’s duties, society, and recycling without a logical progression. Several points repeat the same claim, such as “Goverment is not resposible for everything” and “its not just goverment duety.” The long run-on sections make relationships between ideas difficult to follow, while “In this task” does not clearly connect the preceding point to the next one. To improve, use separate paragraphs for your position, supporting reasons, and conclusion, and make each sentence advance one distinct point with clear links.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The response uses a small set of relevant topic words, such as “recycling,” “waste,” “society,” and “responsibility,” so the general subject can be identified. However, vocabulary is repetitive and often imprecise: “government” and “people” recur frequently, while phrases such as “make them clam society” and “keep the goverment mamtain” do not communicate a clear meaning. Frequent spelling errors—including “recyling,” “resposible,” and “reposebilites”—also make the writing harder to read. Build a more precise range for discussing laws and recycling, such as “legal requirement,” “household waste,” and “recycling scheme,” and check spelling carefully. More accurate collocations would help express your ideas without relying on repeated general terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response attempts some longer sentence forms, for example, “Some people think that recycling is only goverment responsebility,” and uses a conditional structure in “If people make good and resposible society then the will be actually proved.” However, sentence boundaries and basic grammatical patterns are often inaccurate, which makes meaning unclear. Examples include “Some people think that is not enough to recyling in home,” where the clause structure is incomplete, and “its not just goverment duety its include all people,” which joins clauses without appropriate punctuation and has faulty agreement. Articles, pronouns, and verb forms also need attention. Practise writing short, complete sentences first, then combine them with accurate conjunctions and punctuation; this will make your argument easier to understand.
