Student answer (Band 5.0)
Introduction:
Some people claim that not all waste are recycled which is waste from our home. They says that government should impliment the laws which increase the recycling process. When our government act in it we recycle more wastes and it is the way of success.
Overview:
Most of the people waste things from homes like bottles, cans, bags, and cards e.t.c.On the other hand we have no proper system to recycle the things that's whysome people say that the only way to increase recycling is for governments to make it a legal requirment. Moreover, they make laws for recycling the waste material.
Paragraph:
As we know that, most of the people waste things from homes, universities, hospitals and factories. In hospitals we remove garbage or waste material like injections, drips, bottles e.t.c.On the second side we exclude waste product in factories like cloths, cans, bottles e.t.c.In modern era we run industries as well as factories so we have ample amount of waste product. The solution is to make a proper recycling system and we should seperate all kind of things. For instance,in USA homes peoples waste their product in seperate bin. They have many types of bin like bottle bin, paper bin,and other waste material bin.It is the way in which we easily recycle the waste things.
Furthermore, government impliments the law and make the factories which recycling the things. After that the recycle things become useful again and again. For example,in different countries the goverment take care of their countries street and when anyone spread the garbage it must pay the fine. So, the people don't waste extra product.
Conclusion:
We should take care and clean our street and society. We also gives our input for society clean and government should take action for the recycling the waste material.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address the general topic by discussing household waste, recycling systems and possible government action, and the examples of separate bins and fines are relevant. However, the central question asks how far laws are needed, and your position is not clearly stated or sustained. The introduction suggests laws are “the way of success,” while the conclusion says the government “should take action,” but you do not explain whether laws are essential, one useful measure, or insufficient on their own. Much of the response describes types of waste rather than developing reasons for or against legal requirements. State your degree of agreement directly, then support it with developed reasons and a relevant example. The response meets the stated length requirement; 16 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, a main discussion and a conclusion, and the examples about bins and fines give the reader some sense of how recycling might work. However, the progression is not consistently clear: the section labelled “Overview” repeats the prompt’s claim, and the main paragraph shifts from household waste to hospitals and factories before returning to government laws. Several linking expressions, including “On the second side” and “Furthermore,” do not clearly show the relationship between ideas. The conclusion also introduces a general call to clean streets rather than drawing together the argument about whether laws are needed. Organise the essay around two or three reasons, use topic sentences, and connect each example explicitly to your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, such as “recycling system,” “waste material,” “separate bin” and “fine,” so the subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “waste,” “things” and “make.” Some choices are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “waste their product” and “factories which recycling the things,” which can make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Spelling errors such as “impliments,” “requirment” and “seperate” are also noticeable. Build a more precise set of terms for household rubbish and legal measures, and check spelling and collocations. For example, use “dispose of household waste” rather than “waste things from homes.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a conditional structure in “when anyone spread the garbage it must pay the fine,” and the overall meaning can usually be inferred. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction. Examples include “not all waste are recycled,” “They says,” “government impliments,” and “the factories which recycling the things.” Some sentences also join ideas without clear grammatical control, as in “When our government act in it we recycle more wastes.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and complete clause patterns, then use a few controlled complex sentences to explain causes and results. Check punctuation and sentence boundaries when editing.
