Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

The response identifies the topic and signals a partial agreement, saying, “i partially agree,” and it begins to explain why rules may be needed. However, the position is not developed: the essay ends mid-sentence after “which is,” and it gives no complete reasons, examples, or discussion of whether laws are the only or best way to increase recycling. The task therefore receives only minimal treatment rather than a supported answer to all parts of the question. The response also contains 88 words, so it does not meet the required minimum of 250 words. To improve, state your view clearly, explain both the role and limits of legal requirements, and support each main point with a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: an opening paragraph introduces the issue, and “One the one hand” signals the start of a body paragraph. These markers show an awareness of essay structure. However, the progression is very limited because the response stops before completing its first supporting point, and there is no contrasting side or conclusion. The link between people’s awareness of nature and the claim that they throw recyclable waste “at anyware” is also not clearly explained. Develop a complete paragraph around one main idea, use linking phrases to show how each sentence relates to it, and finish with a conclusion that restates your position.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The response uses some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “recycled,” “government,” “rules,” and “aware about nature,” so the general subject can be recognised. However, the range is narrow, and several spelling errors or imprecise expressions make the writing less clear, such as “commanly,” “wastage of hauses,” and “dustbeens.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “throw recycle wastage.” Build a more accurate set of topic words and collocations, such as “household waste,” “recycling bins,” and “recycling rates.” Proofreading spelling and choosing precise expressions will help communicate your ideas more effectively.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts both a longer introductory sentence and a complex explanation beginning “people are very less aware … so that is way they throw…,” showing some effort to connect ideas. However, grammatical control is uneven. For example, “One the one hand, There are some reasons why government should make rules … is that” has faulty sentence construction and agreement, while “i will discuss why i partially agree with this view point why lows are inportant” lacks a clear grammatical link between its clauses. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, and the final sentence is incomplete. Practise writing complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check clause connections, articles, and punctuation before submitting.
