Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowdays, we can see there are lot of wastes is collect from houses but sometime this waste is not use for recycle and they never use it again. So in this type of sistuation government should make some rule for recycling. If the wastes is being recyce the companies make sure they use waste products and recycle them.
In our country there is a quote "Make some best in to the waste".So we should know the importance of recycle products. In our houses there are lot of wastes whose reusable but the product need to recycle but we don't know the importance of recycling product. So without this type of information people throw their wastes direct in the dustbin. In this type of sistuation government play important role example like they open new recycling team who collet wastes from different houses example like they collects school books, cloths, empty pen , papers etc.Government also say to school to run the program about the importance of recycling because of this children know the importance of recycle .They also add the importance of recycle in school books.
Secondly, this is very important for our society. we save the product which is reusable.we also contribute to control the pollution because in the end this product will go in the fire.
In the conclusion my opinion in this sistuation government don't make any type of law but they take some serious steps to aware the people for the importance of recycle product. So we can use the hoses wastes to recycle and reuse that product.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a relevant position: you argue that government action is important, but that laws are not necessary, and you suggest education and collection programmes instead. Examples such as school recycling lessons and collecting books, clothes and paper help address how recycling could increase. However, the response does not fully explain why legal requirements are unnecessary or compare laws with the alternatives you propose. The claim that waste may be burned and cause pollution is also brief and not clearly connected to your argument. Develop each main point with a fuller explanation or a specific example, and make your position on the need for laws clearer throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, supporting paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas are generally grouped by topic. You also use basic signposting such as “Secondly” and “In the conclusion.” However, progression is limited: the second paragraph combines public awareness, government collection, schools and examples without a clear sequence, while the short paragraph beginning “Secondly” introduces a point that is not fully developed. Some links are repetitive or unclear, including repeated references to “this type of situation” and “importance of recycling.” Organise each paragraph around one main point, then explain it and give an example; use clearer references to show how each sentence connects to the previous one.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “recycling,” “reusable,” “pollution” and “government,” so the reader can understand the general subject. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “importance of recycling” and “waste.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, such as “sistuation,” “recyce” and “collet,” and unnatural expressions such as “make some best in to the waste” and “run the program.” These sometimes make the intended meaning harder to follow. Build a more precise set of topic phrases and check spelling and collocations; for example, describe “household waste” being “sorted for recycling” and schools “running awareness programmes.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, the range is limited, and longer structures often contain errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence boundaries. For example, “there are lot of wastes is collect” combines incompatible structures, while “If the wastes is being recyce” has subject–verb agreement problems. The sentence beginning “In our houses there are lot of wastes whose reusable” also lacks a correct relative structure. Punctuation and spacing are inconsistent, with several sentences joined without a space or clear boundary. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then build longer sentences using one clear clause pattern at a time.
