Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is truly said that not enough waste from homes is recycled in our planet and some individual believe that there is only way to adjust this issue by taking action by governmemt to make its a legal requirement.I completely agree with this statement becuase in current scnerio there is a increasingly big demand of rules and regulation. In this essay we will discuss about laws which makes people more aware for enviorment protection.

First and foremost it is a duty of each and every individual to take care of enviornment and manage all the waste from homes but some of them not do that properly because there is a lack of laws regarding waste management in some countries, especially in a least developed country .If each individual manage their waste clearly at their homes then government can use their financeand energy in other things such as education ,food security.

For example,in some developed nation such as European countries goverment make thousands policy regarding waste management and people of such country effectively aware with laws and rules thats why they have higher laws and gadets to manage waste .

Government make laws it is essential for enviornment protection and by laws people are more aware for their waste duty .

To conclude, although it is a duty of individual to maintain their own waste at home but government should introduce laws because people are more aware when laws will creating by the government and this laws is not for citizens ,it is a

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

Your position is clear in the opening: “I completely agree” that laws are needed, and the conclusion repeats that governments should introduce them. You also give relevant points about weak waste-management laws and refer to European countries. However, the response addresses the question only partially because the main reasons are asserted rather than explained. For instance, the claim that people become more aware through laws needs a clear explanation of how requirements or penalties change household behaviour. The example about European policies is too general to show what those policies achieve, and the point about freeing government resources is not clearly connected to recycling. Develop two specific reasons and support each with a concrete example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation: the response moves from an introduction to a main point, an example and a conclusion, and phrases such as “First and foremost” and “To conclude” signal these stages. However, progression within the body is limited, and several ideas are placed together without clear links. The discussion shifts from individual responsibility to government spending, then to European policies, without explaining how each supports the central argument. Some linking is repetitive, particularly the repeated references to laws and awareness. The final sentence also stops abruptly, leaving the conclusion incomplete. Use separate, focused paragraphs for distinct reasons, and connect each example explicitly to the claim it supports.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “waste management,” “legal requirement,” “environment protection” and “education.” This gives the response a basic range suited to the subject. However, vocabulary is often repetitive or imprecise, and noticeable spelling and word-choice errors sometimes make the meaning harder to follow. Examples include “higher laws and gadgets,” which does not clearly describe recycling systems, and “aware with laws,” an unnatural expression. There are also repeated forms such as “laws” and “waste” where more precise terms could help distinguish regulations, collection systems and household sorting. Aim for accurate collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, use “recycling regulations” and “aware of their responsibilities.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response attempts both simple statements and longer clauses, as in “although it is a duty of individual to maintain their own waste at home but government should introduce laws.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, articles, verb forms and sentence construction can make ideas difficult to understand. For example, “some of them not do that properly” needs an auxiliary verb, while “Government make laws” has incorrect subject–verb agreement. The opening also contains a run-on structure, and the final sentence is incomplete. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea at a time, then add subordinate clauses only when their grammar is secure. Review articles and verb agreement in particular.
