I completely agree that the greatest advantage of being rich is the ability to help others. Although wealth can provide comfort and a better lifestyle, I believe its real value lies in improving the lives of people who are less fortunate. Rich individuals can support education, healthcare, and charitable causes. Therefore, in my opinion, using wealth to benefit society is the most meaningful and responsible way to be rich.

In conclusion, I strongly agree that being rich gives people a great opportunity to help others and improve society. Wealth can be used to support education, healthcare, and those in need, making a positive difference in many lives. However, money should also be used responsibly and wisely. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the development of ideas is inconsistent. The first three paragraphs are repetitive and lack depth, while the final two paragraphs are much stronger and more coherent. The essay would benefit from a more balanced structure where the arguments are fully explored rather than restated. While the position is clear, the initial lack of focus on the 'extent' of the agreement makes the argument feel somewhat disjointed. To improve, ensure each paragraph introduces a distinct, well-supported point rather than repeating the same sentiment.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical progression is hindered by the repetitive nature of the early paragraphs. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Moreover' and 'In conclusion', but they are sometimes used mechanically or to connect ideas that are essentially the same. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'According to individual peoples rich is very play a vital role'. Improving the flow between sentences and ensuring that each paragraph builds upon the previous one would significantly enhance the coherence of the response.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is somewhat limited and repetitive, with frequent misuse of word forms, such as 'more enhance thing' and 'make rich first'. There is a reliance on basic vocabulary like 'rich peoples' and 'normal peoples'. While the student attempts to use more sophisticated language in the later paragraphs (e.g., 'less fortunate', 'charitable causes'), the overall range is restricted. To reach a higher band, the student should focus on using more precise collocations and avoiding the repetition of basic terms by using synonyms and more varied academic vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'when you have not money how to could help' and 'I am totally agree with these statement'. Subject-verb agreement and article usage are inconsistent throughout the text. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the response from reaching a higher band. Focusing on sentence construction and proofreading for basic errors would be highly beneficial.
