Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the role of wealth in helping others. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you provide examples like the pandemic, the explanation of how wealth facilitates help is repetitive and lacks depth. The position is clear, but the arguments are not fully extended. For instance, the transition from the necessity of money to the act of helping is abrupt. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a distinct, well-explained point that directly supports your central argument, rather than listing examples of what wealthy people can buy.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, and there is a logical progression of ideas. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'Similiarly' is used incorrectly to introduce a point that does not follow the previous one, and 'luxurious people' is an awkward phrasing. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'helping desire citizen is opportunity for in a seperate way.' Improving the variety and precision of your linking words will help the flow of your arguments significantly.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several instances of word-choice errors and non-standard collocations, such as 'luxurious people' instead of 'the wealthy' or 'affluent individuals', and 'handful hands' which is an incorrect idiom. Spelling errors like 'valueable', 'neccessity', 'pendamic', and 'pshychological' also occur. To reach a higher band, focus on using more sophisticated vocabulary and ensuring correct spelling and collocation, rather than relying on basic terms or incorrectly used phrases.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('Most of problems can be solve'), incorrect preposition usage ('depends in'), and awkward sentence construction ('this generation without currency it is really difficult'). While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for basic grammar, such as verb forms and article usage, to improve the accuracy of your writing.
