Student answer (Band 5.0)
Task-2
In this contemporary every one wants to become rich and help others. However some people believe that if they get rich they do not help any. There have been a considerable debate on this issue.
A fraction of people believe that if they are rich they can help people without thinking any thing. and by becoming rich many problem can be solved. I think 80 percent of problems can be solved by money.
Further & ehnasing my views if people get rich and then
they can get opportunity to help others. they can help them by opening them a small bussiness in a group so that they can run and make their future bright.
on the flip side once someone get rich they stop helping people they only think about them self. After being rich grideness build in their mind and they just satisfy their own needs.
Different people have different notion regardler the statement but i have sound reason to advocate that if someone get rich they should help more to people because they have opptrunity to do it.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 181 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas. While the essay addresses the prompt by discussing the relationship between wealth and helping others, the arguments are underdeveloped and lack sufficient supporting evidence or examples. The position is stated but not fully explored, and the conclusion is brief. To improve, you must expand on your points with specific examples or logical explanations to meet the length requirement and provide a more comprehensive analysis of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. While there are some attempts at cohesive devices (e.g., 'However', 'Further', 'on the flip side'), they are often used mechanically or incorrectly. The transition between ideas is sometimes abrupt, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'they can help them by opening them a small bussiness'. The paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks the necessary depth to ensure a smooth flow of information.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, which restricts the ability to convey complex ideas. There are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'ehnasing', 'bussiness', 'grideness', 'regardler', 'opptrunity') and word choice inaccuracies that occasionally impede clarity. The range of vocabulary is basic and lacks the precision required for an academic essay. To achieve a higher band, you should focus on learning topic-specific collocations and ensuring accurate spelling of common academic terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, with few attempts at complex sentences. When complex structures are attempted, they often contain grammatical errors, such as 'if someone get rich they should help more to people'. There are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement, article usage, and punctuation, which sometimes make the text difficult to follow. A wider range of error-free complex structures is needed to demonstrate better control over English grammar.
