Student answer (Band 6.0)

A significant number of individuals believe that the curical aspact of being wealthy is that rich person has the more opportunity to assist other people because they have wealth. From my persopective, I partially agree with this viewpoint beacuse some unprivilege individuals also in hope that any high income person help them in every situation.

To begin with, many people strongly agree with this, since they feel it is the fundamental moral of human being. Some people think that helping other people is a sign of humbelness and they also feel they do something in their life. For example, many people do charity work and after they feel fulfilment and delighted in their life. Moreover, wealthy indiviudls support others by providing employments. For instance, big industrial is expanding their production, due to this many job creates for people. Furthermore, rich people are also support to build schools, hospitals, and NGO's. To illustare, Reliance fundation held NGO's for unprivilege people. They provide free education for poor students.

On the other hand, a large number of wealthy people fouce on their personal growth. A person who earn good that does not mean they alway have help other people. Individuals are earning money for their comfort and also for security. In addition, many people fouce on they self-growth such as they have to feel luxury in their life. A lot of people have dreames to do in their life like travelling, purchase house, or build their compnay number one in world. For instance, many individuals have vision in their life. They have to achieve in some thing in their life such as starting business and making that biger and number one in world.

In conclusion, I believe that it is depend on person to person what they have support other or not. While many people help other people because of they feel it is their basic ethics, and wealthy people also create jobs for citizens, some fouces on personal goals and growth.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the altruistic potential of wealth and the focus on personal growth. However, the development is somewhat uneven. While you provide examples like the Reliance Foundation, the explanation of why some people prioritize personal goals over helping others is a bit repetitive and lacks depth. The position is clear, but the arguments could be more thoroughly extended to reach a higher band. Ensure that each paragraph directly links back to the core question of whether helping others is the 'most important' aspect of being rich.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central theme. You use cohesive devices such as 'To begin with,' 'Moreover,' 'On the other hand,' and 'In conclusion' to guide the reader. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is slightly disrupted by awkward phrasing, such as 'due to this many job creates for people.' Referencing is generally clear, but the progression of ideas within paragraphs could be smoother to improve the overall coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

There is an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, but there are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'curical', 'aspact', 'persopective', 'beacuse', 'unprivilege', 'humbelness', 'indiviudls', 'illustare', 'fouce', 'biger'). These errors are noticeable and occasionally distract from the content. While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'charity work' and 'personal growth,' the lack of precision and the high frequency of spelling mistakes limit the score. Focusing on proofreading and learning the correct spelling of common academic words will significantly improve your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('many job creates', 'rich people are also support to build') and article usage errors ('the most important thing about being rich is that one has the opportunity'). These errors are persistent and sometimes impede the clarity of your message. To improve, you should focus on basic sentence construction and ensure that verbs and nouns agree, as well as practicing the correct use of articles and prepositions.
