Student answer (Band 5.0)
Certain individuals say that most essential thin about being wealthy is that one has chances to help different individuals. I am partially agree with this statement. As because, some rich people do not have courage to do good deed with others.
On the one hand, rich people have many oppurtunities that comes in their life to help others. They have more money to do social works for people. They also made different social organisations for helping others. As instance, my neighbour is very rich. He do a business of real estate and he earns a mouth-watering money. He help all those people who are needy.I think so this is important thing to help others. In this way you also feel good to help others.
On the other hand, i also disagree with this statement that only helping others is not a essential thing to be rich. According to my opinion, many people who are rich, they give well standard education to their children. Its most important thing is your family status is upgrade. There are also many oppurtunities to do vecations in different countries for the relaxing. When you are poor you cannot enjoy these facilities. Your childern also suffer. Consequently, being rich is to improve your lifestyle. If you have any medical emergency you can easily go to hospital and if condition is serious you can spend hefty amount of money.
To sum up, the crucial thing being rich is not helping others but also improve and maintain their best life style.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing whether helping others is the most important aspect of being wealthy, presenting a partial agreement. The writer attempts to present two sides: the opportunity to help others and the personal benefits of wealth such as family lifestyle and education. However, the ideas are somewhat limited and under-developed, relying heavily on basic reasoning and personal anecdotes like 'my neighbour is very rich'. The position is clear, but the development lacks depth and extension typical of higher bands. Therefore, this performance corresponds to Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The text is organized into four paragraphs, showing an attempt at a conventional essay structure with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the progression is often disrupted by awkward transitions and repetitive sentence patterns. Cohesive devices are sometimes inaccurate or mechanical, such as 'As because' and 'As instance'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the overall flow lacks smooth logical connection between sentences. This organizational control and mechanical cohesion place the response firmly at Band 5.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is relatively basic and repetitive, featuring phrases like 'most essential thin', 'mouth-watering money', and 'hefty amount of money'. There are noticeable word choice and spelling errors, such as 'oppurtunities', 'vecations', and 'childern'. The range of vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey basic ideas, but errors in collocation and spelling cause some distraction for the reader. This performance aligns with the Band 5.0 descriptors for Lexical Resource.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, with frequent errors throughout. There are issues with subject-verb agreement and article usage, as seen in 'I am partially agree', 'He do a business', and 'its most important thing is your family status is upgrade'. Attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty, and punctuation errors are present. Because errors are frequent and occasionally cause difficulty for the reader, a score of 5.0 is appropriate.
