Student answer (Band 5.0)

Being rich is that one chance to can help the others people and it is the common belief of some peoples.I extremly believe with this statement.Because the secure financial stabilty is very much important for growing their with much better lifestyle and others benefits. It also has advantages to help others people who has not have proper monetary support.

First of all, having a large amount of money can help those people who needs help.Because many people has not suffecient money for their normal and ordinary life. They all are struggle with their financial crisis.that is why they cannot afford their daily foods, housing and proper treatment.Rich individual can makes significant difference by donating money and charities to the poor people. As an example, they can pay for the children education.and they also donate a big amount to the hospital for better and free treatment to the poor people.

So their wealth can be improve the lives who can not afford their basic needs.

Furthermore, wealthy people also can invest their money during any natural disaster and emergencies. For instance, after a major flood or cyclone the poor people lost their house and their lands,so the wealthy individual can provide their financial support to them for foods ,medicine and shelter.

In addition, helping others can give the wealthy people strong mindset and satisfaction. It also help the meanningful form of happiness. In sense, wealth will not be valuable just what we buy for self.it will be valuable when you can buy for thats people who cannot afford their basic needs properly.

In conclusion,I am totally agree with that , Wealth will be the greatest advantages for the poor people

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The student addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that being rich is primarily advantageous because it offers the opportunity to help others. The main ideas are relevant and supported by examples, such as paying for children's education, hospital donations, and providing assistance during natural disasters. However, some arguments lack full extension and are somewhat repetitive, particularly regarding basic needs and financial crisis. While the position is evident throughout, the depth of development aligns best with Band 6.0, as some ideas remain slightly under-developed and generalisations are frequent.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a recognisable introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is attempted, although some paragraphs are overly dense or contain abrupt transitions, such as starting sentences mid-thought or abrupt shifts in ideas. Cohesive devices like 'First of all,' 'Furthermore,' and 'In addition' are used to sequence points, but referencing and substitution are occasionally faulty or mechanical ('the poor people', 'their wealth can be improve'). The logical progression is sometimes hindered by grammatical awkwardness, placing this response at a solid Band 5.5.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is adequate to communicate basic ideas related to wealth, charity, and basic needs. However, the range is quite limited, and there are frequent word-choice errors and non-idiomatic collocations, such as 'secure financial stabilty', 'growing their with much better lifestyle', and 'meanningful form of happiness'. Spelling errors are also noticeable ('extremly', 'suffecient', 'meanningful'). Because the vocabulary attempts some less common terms like 'monetary support' but is marred by frequent inaccuracies that occasionally strain the reader, a Band 5.0 is appropriate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control is weak. There are frequent, intrusive grammatical errors throughout the text, including tense errors ('lost their house'), subject-verb agreement issues ('wealth can be improve'), missing articles ('for children education'), and fragment sentences ('Because the secure financial stabilty is...'). Punctuation is also problematic, with missing spaces after periods. Due to the high frequency of errors that frequently cause difficulty and impede fluency, the grammar aligns with Band 5.0.
