Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear stance that helping poor people is indeed the most important aspect of being rich. The writer attempts to support this position by brainstorming various methods of assistance, such as providing shelter, education, employment, and food. However, the development of ideas remains somewhat superficial and repetitive, heavily relying on listing examples rather than extending arguments with deeper reasoning. The ideas are relevant and convey a clear perspective, aligning closely with the Band 5 descriptors where ideas are limited and under-developed, though all parts of the prompt are addressed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay lacks proper paragraphing, as nearly the entire text is lumped into one long block of text, which severely hinders the visual and structural flow. Cohesive devices are used very mechanically or are missing entirely; phrases like 'if their is' and 'A rich person can help' are repeated frequently to start new sentences, leading to a repetitive and choppy structure. There is some basic organization in terms of listing supporting points, but there is no clear overall progression or sophisticated referencing between sentences. These features place the response firmly in Band 5.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently reusing terms such as 'rich', 'person', 'help', and 'poor people'. There are noticeable word-choice errors and non-standard forms, such as 'montlyfee' instead of 'monthly fee', 'bussiness' with a spelling error, and 'eligibilie'. Less common lexical items are attempted but usually misused or misspelled. While the meaning is generally communicated despite the numerous errors, the range is limited and minimally adequate, which fits the Band 5 descriptors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The text displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, consisting predominantly of simple sentences and repetitive conditional clauses ('If you are rich...', 'If you had get...'). Frequent grammatical errors occur throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('his money didn't reduces it got double'), tense errors ('If you had get'), and missing articles. Punctuation is also problematic, with misplaced full stops and spaces. These frequent errors cause some difficulty for the reader and reflect typical Band 4 to Band 5 characteristics, leaning toward a 5 for communicative intent.
