Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this contemporary society, it is often argue that the gretest advantage of being wealthy is having the opportunity to help other. I partially agree with this notion.
Initially, being rich gives people the financial capacity to support their family and friends. Wealthy individuals can donate to charities, provide scholarships and contribute to community development projects. For instance, rich human can make plan for small establish a scholarship programme for low income families as well as needy people. Therefore, it can be support as a powerful means of improving other individual's live.
On the other hand, every coin has two side, I littel bit disagree with this view that it isnot necessarily the most significant benefit of being rich. financial weath can provide greater security and higher standard of life. For example, rich communities can affort quality healthcare, better acadamic and comfortable life. Hence, personal financial stability is also a major advantage of having subtancial weath.
In conclusion, although, it enables people to make a positive contribution to society. I believe that the opportunity to help other is one of the most important benifits of being welthy. That's why I partially agree with this notion.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both sides of whether helping others is the most important aspect of wealth, presenting a partially agreeing position. However, some ideas are under-developed, such as the brief mentions of scholarships and community development projects, which lack sufficient extension. Furthermore, the length requirement is not met, as the response contains only 195 words, falling short of the 250-word minimum. To reach a higher level, the writer needs to expand fully on all parts of the task with well-supported arguments and ensure the word count requirement is properly satisfied.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The text maintains a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, using paragraphing sufficiently and appropriately. Cohesive devices are employed, such as 'Initially', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion', though referencing and transitions are at times mechanical or somewhat repetitive, as seen with the phrasing used to signal arguments. To progress, the writer should ensure that cohesive devices connect ideas more naturally and flexibly, and improve the logical progression between sentences within the body paragraphs.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The writer uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common items such as 'financial capacity', 'community development', and 'personal financial stability'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word choice errors throughout the text, such as 'gretest', 'other' instead of 'others', 'human can make plan for small establish', 'littel', 'isnot', 'weath', 'acadamic', and 'welthy'. While these errors do not severely impede communication, they reflect a limited vocabulary control that prevents the response from achieving a higher mark.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The response displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some attempt at variety with conditional and subordinate clauses. However, there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation, including subject-verb agreement issues like 'it is often argue', incorrect article usage, and punctuation errors such as comma splices ('every coin has two side, I littel bit disagree'). Although the meaning remains mostly clear, these recurring structural errors and punctuation slips mean the grammar cannot be rated at a higher level.
