Some say that the most important thing about being rich is that one has the opportunity to help others. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Student answer (Band 5.0)
Helping to other is a blessing of god and reseive happiness. Rich people are blessed owing to they are cabale to help other. some people beleive that rich people has opportunity to help others. Lets discuss on this.
wealthy people become is not a easy without burn midnight oil . they are different lifestyle from underprivileged people. they have own bussiness , cars, luxury houses and enjoy three miles in a day . they have great education system for studies. they living their with their own rules. so, they should help to nedd full persons easily.
on the other hand, in day to day life we see economical disadvantage people in ou daily life. some people feeling sad even they are lower income reciever but they doing small effort for poor pople . well earn people should help the poverty people easily owing to everything they have. affluent poeple should open education center for poor students and provide them small houses ,food , clothes and so on.
my opinion is that wealthy people should try to give facilities for neddy people. they help them with money because in their own life they spend huge amount of unnessacery things. when they should help the childrens and lower income families. they feel over the moon. a middle class person can also help the poor peoples with small efforts like :- less financially ,and small food , more little things and so on.
different people have different notion regarding the statement but i have sound reasons to advocate that wealthy people should help underprivilaged people and other people should help with small efforts. their small effort can made things easier for them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the topic and make your position clear in the later paragraphs: you believe wealthy people should help those in need, while people with less money can also contribute. Examples such as providing education, housing, food and clothing are relevant. However, the response only partly explores the specific claim that the opportunity to help others is the most important aspect of being rich. Much of the discussion lists what wealthy people possess or should donate, without comparing this opportunity with other benefits of wealth or explaining why it is most important. The opening is also difficult to follow, and the conclusion largely repeats your view. Develop the central comparison and explain your reasons more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, body paragraphs presenting related points, and a concluding paragraph. Phrases such as “on the other hand” and “my opinion is” help signal shifts in the discussion. However, the overall progression is not consistently clear: the first body paragraph describes wealthy people’s lifestyles, but its connection to the main claim is not fully explained, and the next paragraph moves between low-income people’s feelings and what affluent people should provide. Some linking is repetitive or awkward, and references such as “they” can be unclear. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, then explain and illustrate it before moving to the next point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “wealthy,” “underprivileged,” “affluent,” “lower income families,” and “education center.” This shows an attempt to discuss social inequality and assistance. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning difficult to understand. For example, “three miles in a day” appears to be an unintended phrase, while “help the poverty people” and “small effort” are not natural expressions in this context. Spelling errors such as “neddy,” “unnessacery,” and “underprivilaged” also reduce clarity. Build a reliable set of phrases for discussing wealth, poverty and charitable support, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the response is generally recognisable as an argument. However, grammatical control is weak: errors occur frequently in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, articles and plurals, and they sometimes make the intended meaning hard to follow. Examples include “wealthy people become is not a easy,” “they are different lifestyle,” and “their small effort can made things easier.” Several sentences also lack a clear grammatical connection between clauses, as in “when they should help the childrens and lower income families.” Practise building accurate basic sentences first, especially subject–verb agreement and verb forms, then add subordinate clauses. Careful proofreading for sentence boundaries and punctuation would also improve readability.
