Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some say that the most important thing about being rich is that one has the opportunity to help others. i'm agree about this statment. we help other peoples to become rich.
Because when any people help other people the needed person are thankfull of the person who help them. and then 2nd person ask other people that person is very helpfull and if you have any problem in any case you are ask that person. and this reason diffrent people come to you and respect you. and if you have a salleried person anyone in the office trust you and want your help. and you got pormotion very quickly because you help other peoples and the trust on you and when you got pormotion you earned more money and more respect and that is the most important step to become rich in future.
if you are a buisnessman, and you are help other peoples, the peoples you helps that are very strong trust, then they are a good and permanent coustmer of your. when you have more coustmer you earned more money and you become rich quickly. and when you become billioner you do donations, charity and make free hospitals and schools where peoples doing there treatments and medicine is free, and in the schools the childrens get free education.
In conclution, the helping other peoples is not your money wasteing , they become you more wealthy. because you earned peoples trust and trust helps to become more client and make more money.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You take a clear position in favour of the statement and give relevant examples, including helping colleagues at work and supporting customers in a business. You also explain that trust may lead to promotion, income, and opportunities to donate to hospitals and schools. However, the response only partly develops the question: it focuses mainly on how helping others can make the writer richer, rather than examining whether helping others is the most important benefit of wealth. The ideas are repetitive and some links in the reasoning are asserted rather than explained. The response is 234 words, so it is 16 words below the 250-word minimum; the 19 words copied from the task prompt are not counted. Develop the central argument more fully and meet the required length.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is a recognisable overall structure: an opening position, examples about employment and business, and a conclusion. The examples are generally presented in a sensible order, and connectors such as “because,” “and then,” and “In conclusion” show attempts to link ideas. However, much of the response is placed in two very long paragraphs, making the progression difficult to follow. The repeated use of “and” and “because” creates a mechanical rhythm, while some references, such as “the needed person” and “the 2nd person,” are unclear. Use separate paragraphs for each main reason, vary linking expressions, and make the relationship between each example and your argument explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use a small set of relevant words connected with the topic, including “trust,” “respect,” “promotion,” “donations,” and “free education.” These help communicate your main ideas. However, vocabulary is limited and repetitive, particularly the frequent use of “help,” “people,” “money,” and “rich.” Several spelling errors and inaccurate word choices make the writing less clear, for example “salleried,” “coustmer,” and “billioner.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “a good and permanent customer of your.” Build a wider range of topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations; for instance, describe how wealth can “fund charitable services” rather than repeatedly referring to helping people.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, including a conditional example beginning “if you are a businessman,” and you use basic present and future forms. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and attempts at longer sentences are often faulty. Examples include “i'm agree,” “the needed person are thankful,” and “you are ask that person,” where verb forms or subject–verb agreement are incorrect. Articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries also need attention; several ideas run together, and the opening “i'm” is not capitalised. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add controlled clauses using “if,” “when,” and “because.” Proofread each sentence for a clear subject, correctly formed verb, and appropriate punctuation.
