Student answer (Band 6.0)

In the contemporary world, having money is one the biggest advantages and an essential thing to live a comfortable life. Some individual believe that having the opportunity to help others is the most important things about being rich. I firmly believe that helping others is an important thing to do and being a rich individual it becomes much easier to help others, but we have to help others in moderation and after careful consideration.

Multiple organizations spend their resources to help citizen gets employment or free training for them to learn helpful skills. For intances, many companies offer apprenticeship roles for people with low education qualification, so that they can learn new skills and upgrade their standings in society. Furthermore, government also works on campaign and provides scholarships for students from low-income families to study higher education.

Non-profits organizations also play an important role in helping poor families, catering their needs whether in terms of education, medical expenses or sometime living expenses for disable persons. NGOs works on charity funds from rich individuals and even middle class family, who also wants to contribute in helping society. For intance, we have multiple NGOs in Pakistan that provides shelter homes for orphanages and elders. Consequently, we also have animal welfare NGOs as well to help not only human, but also animals.

In conclusion, being rich is very beneficial for helping others, whether that through helping others through their own organization, or by generating higher tax for governments and even donating to NGOs to do the work. Ultimately, having money has much advantage than having non at all

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you consider helping others an important benefit of wealth, while adding that help should be given “in moderation and after careful consideration.” The examples about apprenticeships, scholarships, NGOs, and donations are relevant and show several ways money can support others. However, the response does not fully examine the claim that helping others is the most important aspect of being rich. The qualification about moderation is not explained, and there is little comparison with other benefits or responsibilities associated with wealth. The conclusion mainly repeats ways rich people can help rather than resolving how far you agree. Develop your central argument by explaining why this benefit is more important than alternatives, or clarify the limits of your agreement.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. The body paragraphs group related examples, and transitions such as “Furthermore,” “Consequently,” and “In conclusion” help signal the direction of the discussion. This gives the essay a coherent progression. To make the organisation more effective, ensure each paragraph advances the argument about whether helping others is the most important aspect of wealth, rather than mainly listing organisations and services. Some links are mechanical, and the final paragraph repeats the idea of helping through organisations, taxes, and donations without drawing these points together. Use clearer referencing and more varied links between claims and examples, and make the relationship between the examples and your position explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range of topic-related vocabulary, including “apprenticeship roles,” “low-income families,” “scholarships,” “charity funds,” and “animal welfare.” These terms help communicate relevant examples, and the meaning is generally clear. There are, however, some inaccurate word choices, collocations, and spelling errors that limit precision. For example, “upgrade their standings in society” is not a natural expression in this context, while “non-profits organizations” and “for intances” show errors in form or spelling. Repeated use of “help others” also makes parts of the response less varied. Aim for more natural collocations and precise alternatives, such as describing people as improving their employment prospects or social circumstances, and proofread spelling and word forms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including purpose clauses such as “so that they can learn new skills” and a relative clause in “families, who also wants to contribute.” This shows some range, and the main ideas remain understandable. Some errors in agreement, articles, plurals, and sentence construction reduce accuracy. For instance, “Some individual believe” has a subject–verb agreement problem, and “government also works on campaign” needs more accurate article and number choices. In “NGOs works” and “NGOs … provides,” the plural subject does not agree with the verb. The final sentence, “having money has much advantage than having non at all,” also has faulty comparative structure. Review agreement and article use, and check each sentence’s grammatical pattern when proofreading.
