The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given bar graph provides information about the number of people buying coffee and tea, and their drinking habits in 5 cities in Australia,

Overall, it can be seen that people who bought instant coffee and went to a cafe for drinking coffee and tea experienced an upward trend while, buying fresh coffee represented a lower trend. Further, among five cities people mostly prefer going to a cafe.

Looking at the data in more detail, it is evident that 44% residents in Sydney prefer buying fresh coffee. This figure was lower in Melbourne and Brisbane around 42% and 34% people bought fresh coffee in last 4 weeks. Furthermore, in Sydney about 46% residents bought instant coffee and this percentage Gradually increased in Melbourne and Brisbane at about 48% and 53%, respectively. On the other hand, people who went to a cafe to drink coffee and tea the proportion was highest in Melbourne at about 64% compared to the Sydney and Brisbane.
