The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart compares the survey results of the last 4 weeks about the drinking routine of individuals that are sipping or shopping various coffee and tea in five Australian towns – Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Hobart.

Overall, a large number of people preferred to visit the cafes for sipping coffee or tea across all five cities. Whereas buying fresh coffee was least popular, especially in Brisbane and Adelaide. Instant coffee buyers stand at an average of nearly half. Adelaide was least fascinated about coffee and tea culture.

To begin with, the majority of Melbourne's population was most inclined towards visiting cafes for drinking coffee and tea, accounting for nearly 64%, while Hobart also had a similar percentage of drinkers around 63%, third was Sydney at 61%, Brisbane at 55.5%, and the least was Adelaide at 49%. Secondly, instant coffee buyers were most numerous in Hobart, around 55%. Although Sydney was at the bottom, it contributed about 45%.

Consequently, according to the survey, purchasing fresh coffee was popular in Sydney and Melbourne nearly 43%, whereas Brisbane and Adelaide populations were least interested in it, contributing at 34%.
