The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart shows research about individual's coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five different cities (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart) in Australia.

Overall, cafe for coffee or tea accounted for the highest percentages in most cities, whereas fresh coffee generally recorded the lowest figures.

Looking first at coffee or tea, Melbourne recorded the highest percentage, at approximately 64%%. This was followed by Hobart, which accounted for around 63%. By contrast, Adelaide stood at just under 50%.

Turning to fresh coffee, Sydney had the highest proportion around 44%, whereas Brisbane recorded the lowest percentage at just under 35%.

Lastly, Instant coffee was the most popular in Hobart by 54%. While, Sydney ranked last over 45% with instant coffee use.
