The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Overall, it is clear that people went more often to a cafe for coffee or tea in last few week’s in Melbourne and hobart.

Melbourne recorded the highest proportion of café visitors, at about 64%, followed closely by Hobart and Sydney, at approximately 63% and 61% respectively. Brisbane had a lower figure of around 56%, while Adelaide had the lowest, at about 50%. Instant coffee purchases were highest in Hobart, at roughly 55%, followed by Brisbane at 53%. The figures for Adelaide and Melbourne were around 50% and 48%, while Sydney had the lowest proportion, at about 46%.

Fresh coffee purchases were comparatively less popular, ranging from approximately 34% in Brisbane to 44% in Sydney. Melbourne, Adelaide and Hobart recorded around 43%, 35% and 39% respectively.
