The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The bar chart compares the proportion of last four weeks to buying and drinking habits of coffee and tea in five Australian cities namely Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart.

Overall, individuals went to cafe for coffee had the largest proportion in Melbourne and Hobart which was more than the city of Brisbane and Adelaide while bought fresh coffee constiuted the lowest proportion in all cities.

In general, bought fresh coffee madeup the average share at 44% in Sydney which slipped slightly to 42% in Melbourne then agian fell to roughly 34% in Brisbarne which remained same in Adelaide then increased to 43% in Hobart. In addition, the proportion of bought instant coffee comprised to 45% in Sydneywhich rose consistantly to 48% and 50% in Melbourne and Adelaide respecti
