The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The chart illustrates the results of a survey about people's coffee, tea buying, and drinking habits in five particular Australian cities.

Overall, four of the five cities accounted for high figures in the category of people who went to a cafe for coffee or tea, while Adelaide recorded its highest proportion in instant coffee. By contrast, the category that recorded the lowest proportion in all five cities was fresh coffee.

Looking first at the proportions of people who went to a café for coffee or tea, Melbourne recorded the highest percentage of people, standing at just under 65%. However, Adelaide recorded its lowest proportion of customers, at just under 50%. Turning to the instant coffee, Hobart accounted for the largest proportion, at approximately 55%, while Sydney accounted for the lowest proportion, at just over 45%.

Regarding the people who bought fresh coffee, this was the category with the lowest recorded proportion of people out of the among the three categories. Furthermore, Sydney recorded the highest percentage of people, at around 45%, whereas Brisbane recorded the lowest percentage, at around 35%.
