The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The bar chart illustrates the information about individual's habits of buying coffee and tea in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide , Hobart.

Overall, the highest number of people has went to a cafe for coffee or tea in last four weeks in all five Australian cities. while, the least number of individuals have bough fresh coffee in last 4 weeks.

According to bar graph, it is evident that Melbourne and Hobart have the maximum people who bought coffee or tea from the cafe in last 4 weeks. It is arround 63%. Followed by, Sydney has approximately 60% of the people who went for cafe. Adelaide and Sydney have almost equal number of person who bough fresh and instant coffee in past 4 weeks. They are at 50% and 45% respectively.

Furthermore, Brisbane and Adelaide have the least number of public who purchased fresh coffee in past 4 weeks. Arround 35% of the public has bought fresh coffee. Hobart has the highest instant coffee consumers, at 55%. Sydney have the highest number of consumers for fresh coffee.
