The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The chart illustrates the finalized result of a survey on the coffee and tea buying and drinking habit of people in five Australian different cities.

Overall, visiting a cafe for coffee or tea was the most popular habit in most cities, while buying fresh coffee was generally the least common activity. Melbourne recorded the highest percentage of citizens visiting cafes, whereas Brisbtane had the lowest proportion of people buying fresh coffee.

In Sydney, about 44% of citizens bought fresh coffee, while 45% purchased instant coffee and 61% went to cafe for coffee or tea last week. Similarly, in Melbourne, the figure around 43%, 48% and 64% respectively. Therefore, visiting cafe was considerably more popular than buying either types of coffee in these two cities.

In, Brisbane, around 34% of people bought fresh coffee, compared with 53% purchased by instant coffee and 55% who visited cafe for last one month. Finally, in Hobar, approximately 38% bought fresh coffee, while 54% purchased instant coffee and around 63% went to a cafe.
