The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The bar chart compares the percentages of residents who were bought or drinked coffee and tea in last four weeks in five Austalian cities.
Overall, people preffered to go to a cafe for coffee or tea in all cities except for Adelaide, while those who bought fresh coffee consistently lower in all cities, with istant coffee buyers remained the second popular category in all cities except for one city.
Residents highly preferred to visit a cafe for coffee of tea signigicantly larger than the others activities, In Habart and Melbourne, there were around 63% each of their citiy residents did this activity, followed by Brisbane that accounted for 55%. By contrast, in Adelaide, this activity represented the second popular just under the half (around 48%). Looking at instant coffee buyers, Hobart registered the largest percentage comapered to other cities, at just under 55%, followed by Brisbane at around 53%, while this figure for other three cities ramined between 45% and 50%.
