The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart illustrates a report from a survey that describes the percentage of three categories of coffee and tea purchasing and drinking habits by the people living in five cities that located in Australia for the last four weeks.

Overall, it is evident that largest percentage of people from all cities went to a cafe for coffee or tea in last 4 weeks except in Adelaide where many residents brought instant coffee in the last 4 weeks. However, people who brought fresh coffee in last 4 weeks remained the lowest across all cities.

Regarding Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, Sydney reported roughly 61% of residents who went to the cafe for coffee or tea, followed by people who brought instant coffee at a percentage share around 46% and those who brought fresh coffee at a percentage value around 44%. Meanwhile, for the last four weeks Melbourne and Brisbane recorded an approximate value of 64% and 55% among those who went to the cafe to buy coffee or tea respectively, followed by those who brought instant coffee at a value just below 47% and 53% respectively. However, those who brought fresh coffee remained the least in Melbourne and Brisbane.

Regarding Adelaide and Hobart, people who bought instant coffee reported the largest percentage at 50% in Adelaide, closely followed by residents who went to cafe for coffee or tea at a figure just below 50% and those who brought free coffee remained the least. Conversely, those who went to a cafe for coffee or tea in Hobart accounted for the largest percentage across all cities at roughly 63% and residents who brought fresh coffee remained the least at a value just below 39%..
