The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The bar chart compares the coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five different cities in Australia.

It is evident that citizens of Melbourne are most keen to visiting a cafe for coffee or tea in last 4 weeks as almost 63% people's try it. While the individuals living in Hobart are fond of buying instant coffee in last months as they topped among all in that category with 54% share. On the other hand, people's who prefer fresh coffee are mostly belongs to Sydney as it observed that Sydney's 43% individuals bought it in last 4 weeks.

Overall visiting cafe is the most liked category throughout all the cities excluding Adelaide in which people slightly more prefers instant coffee by just 1% and it becomes the most appealing in that city with almost 50% share. While fresh coffee remains the least interested in all cities especially in Brisbane where only 34% people wants to buy and drink it.
