The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart illustrates the results of a survey on the coffee and tea habits of people living in five Australian cities. It compares the percentages of residents who bought fresh coffee, bought instant coffee, or visited a café.

Melbourne recorded the highest proportion of café visitors, at around 64%, followed closely by Hobart with 63%, while Sydney stood at just over 60%. The figures were lower in Brisbane and Adelaide, at approximately 55% and 50% respectively. Fresh coffee was less popular, with Sydney leading at about 44%, closely followed by Melbourne at 43%.
